Dragon Age: The Gathering Dark
The South is Restless
It is the Autumn of 9:29, The Dragon Age is approaching the conclusion of its third decade. There is a new king in Ferelden and some of the lords still question his ability to lead, held in check only by Teyrn Loghain’s support. There is peace in Ferelden and there is prosperity, trade is flowing and the people are safe but right beneath the surface dark forces stir. In the southlands, Darkspawn have started coming forth from the Korcari Wilds in greater numbers every month. The southern arlings are under attack and people are starting to whisper about another Blight, as people tend to do. Dark clouds are gathering over the lands of Ferelden and heroes must rise to keep them at bay.
